I feel really betrayed. I trusted him to help protect and nurture this space not turn it into a recruitment pool for his own goals.

He’s mentioned before how he wanted to grow his own active community, and I guess now I see how far he was willing to go for that. He basically used me as a beacon and funneled people over by privately messaging them behind my back.
