Part of me wishes we could scale things back again in the game industry. Smaller games, tighter scopes, more experimentation.

Most gamers wants, or expect, prettier games, more content and bigger worlds—and yeah, that comes at a cost.

Everyone's reaction makes total sense, it is a tough pill to swallow. But even with these reactions (and a small backlash), people will buy the console and games..

And they know that.

And yet, prices stayed mostly the same for a long, long time. So now that Nintendo made the jump, others will follow. That’s just how this is going to work..

But… it was also kind of inevitable.
Game development has changed massively over the past 20 years. Budgets are bigger. Teams are huge. Timelines now stretch 5–7 years instead of the old 1–2.

But anyway.

It’s frustrating when you hear this stuff, especially in real life and you don’t know how to phrase it so people understand you. Cause they rarely really listen.

But people are awful and the last few years I’ve seen it noticeably get worse, let alone in countries where people in my community STILL don’t have rights.

But sure, you as a straight guy know exactly whats going on.

I am vocal for a fucking reason. Maybe try and speak up for us.

For what its worth, he looks so incredibly sweet and happy❤️ You can instantly see that this little fluff is cared for and lovef.

Really sorry to hear about the layoffs, just sucks to see skilled and amazing people lose their jobs and livelihoods..
