There is something ridiculously soothing about going over wet paint with a tiny brush without deadlines or other self-imposed pressure. I finished this little panel of Camille Claudel's sculpture that we started during two live streams. I recorded the final pass and it's here: youtu.be/2yIiItJ8Jyo

About 5 hours of progress today on these two. I'm TIRED haha. Haven't done these long sessions in a while and I'm not painting fit. Yes that's a thing, painting fit TRY ME.

The thing that always hits me when painting is that you inevitably lose things you were so careful with. You lose it and it feels like you destroyed something essential. It's the thing that still gives me terrible bouts of insecurity; not knowing if you're good enough to put it back in there again.
