The march is now passing the Chicago city hall / Cook County hall building. The chant goes up,

"Minnesota don't you fear, we, the people, are right here"

With the string, I dip it in black paint then press it into spiral shapes in my paintings (the marks fade into the background eventally) or dip it in red and make squiggle texture marks. I do that with black paint too. It's part of my process now and one of the ways people recognize my art.

Wow, that is great to know about. I have a couple fav tools...one is a spray water bottle and the other is thin string.
