Here are some faces I met at the The Morgan Library & Museum yesterday in two differnt exhibits: Renoir and Psalms. The red chalk is Rodin. Skull is a rosary bead. Bowl is a Hebrew incantation bowl.

Last night i had the privilege to hear dr Jonathan Sarna speak about mark twain… and i totally fangirled him and got this excellent photo! Squee!
His book American Judaism was has hugely influenced me, and helped me deeply understand how our community became what it is today. Highly recommend!

Parsha Post: Noach:The ark was a KINDNESS FACTORY. An extreme lack of kindness was the reason for the flood. So G-d put the last family into an ark, and told them they had to spend a year nurturing others. ( animal others). Then they could begin again.
