Mohaiemen's new three-channel film takes us back to the 1970s, exploring memorialisation through milestone moments in May 1970, when American students protesting domestic racism and overseas wars were met with state violence. ⁠

• Each shortlisted idea/artist will receive a fee to work up their proposal in time for the interview with the panel.
