telling stories is so hard

i also love how scrappy the stilkins are. When you are against an enemy with overwhelming power, you take every possible upper hand you can get. That means hiding in maggot water to ambush, that means setting up traps, that means a boss fight where they gang up on you instead of an honorable duel

maybe this is me being masochistic, but im so partial to hostile design as a thematic device. It's a miserable area to play through, but few areas can convey their story better than bilewater showing the pain and anger of its people towards those who ruined their home

ayyy great progress! also this opinion might have been unpopular in the first few days of silksong, but i love bilewater and groal. When it comes to thematics in relation to gameplay design, i think this area might be the best in both HK games
