5️⃣ Aye-Aye – This lemur from Madagascar uses its extra-long middle finger to tap trees and find insects, making it one of the strangest primates.

Aye-aye is the only extant member of the genus Daubentonia and family Daubentoniidae. It is currently classified as Endangered.

When in colonies, snapping shrimp can interfere with sonar and underwater communication. They are considered major source of sound in the ocean
