It appears that with each passing day, the institution is losing ground to the public. The long-term consequences of this either the institution survives, or the public does. I hope that, in the coming decades, those responsible for these decisions will be held accountable for their actions.

If the country were to enter a full-scale war, wouldn’t this amount to using civilians as human shields? None of the wars they claim to have won in the past were fought under such circumstances.

No democratic country can deny this right, and examples of violent protests exist across the globe. Even on May 9, the protesters did not target military installations such as missiles, tanks, or trenches

Yet, those responsible conveniently claim that the military has no involvement in politics. In functioning democracies, protests are often disruptive and occasionally violent, but the right to protest remains a universally recognized and protected fundamental right.
