My dad is there as well. I was there years ago, and both my brother and sister. We took our daughter there (not on the day of remembrance) when she was 10 months old and will take her again.. It's very important to learn about history and learn FROM it not to repeat the horrible things that happened

Every year there's a walk of remembrance in Vukovar with thousands of people including veterans and politicians. This year it was led by women - mothers, daughters, wives, nurses, doctors, and those who fought there as well as their male colleagues. It might be a little gesture, but so powerful.
