That’s always been allowed? (On Cucurella specifically)

Both of these factors mean supporters don’t really think about the games before they happen. If you asked me last week, it would have been 50/50 that I’d remember who our next opponent was. This all means there’s just generally less hype around the games, and it makes them feel inconsequential

Yeah, I do, for two reasons:

1. There’s simply too many games per team

2. The margin for error is unclear. In the group stages, you could see exactly how each fixture could affect a teams ability to qualify, and the outcome of the group was solely in the hands of the teams competing in it.

I think there’s an appeal to the table aspect but I don’t feel it when the games are actually on. The games themselves feel inconsequential

Better to ignore. Anyone who clearly doesn’t know who Maldini is isn’t worth wasting your time.
