Don’t get me wrong, Manuel Neuer will go down as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time… but his performances have steadily declined in since his metatarsal fractures back in 2017. Bayern have a luxury of not needing to depend on gk performances often, but the leniency Neuer has is surprising.

I think Liverpool will have a tough time moving him. I expect a high asking price that will limit potential buyers. Clubs will either not have the money but could be improved by acquiring, or have the money but not be improved by acquiring

Out of curiosity, how are you defining “Europe Caliber”

I would imagine the hope is to start a multi-year transition of Alisson to a cup-type role rather than starter, with Kelleher leaving. Alisson isn’t that old yet but he has plenty of minutes and plenty of injuries on him that “age” him a bit.
