2015-2016 were the anomalies. Go back to 2007-2008 and 1998 just for fun and they only scored more than 3 runs once (4 against Arizona in Game 2 of 2007 NLDS). All three series were sweeps

100%. It was a great way to see standings, stat leaders, and names in each lineup and it served as memory reinforcement reading it every morning. Now, as lazy as it might sound, I find it cumbersome to go into the details for every game, or the tab for standings, every time I'm in the Yahoo app

I know you didn't ask for this partial life story but for some reason seeing your post hit me a little hard and made me miss that. Most likely a symptom of not being younger/having less responsibility, but still something i miss nonetheless

Now, due to time (no more summer vacations), availability (Cubs aren't on a channel I get), and the way we receive information (No more tangible paper with everything on one page) I just don't/can't keep up like that anymkre

I used to watch/listen to most Cubs games every year, watched Baseball Tonight every night, and read the box scores & recaps from around the league in the paper every morning. I was seeing baseball and having it reinforced in pretty much everything I saw and did

When I sat in the bleachers for playoff games in 2015-2016 it seemed like everyone stuck to the assigned seating.
