Having infinite raw damage bullets, no longer having as many levels of ammo to craft steadily drifted the gunner style of hunting into something like "a melee weapon with range" and I can't care for it. I put hours into Wilds, gave it a chance and it's just not the same

I started playing in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the 3DS, I gave the demo a chance and loved the idea of gunning monsters, that you played as a small siege weapon and how raw the weapon felt. The changes in Monster Hunter Wilds broke that charm for me
