The Hagerstown Flying Boxcars have named Mark Minicozzi their manager for the upcoming season, the third in club history.

A 2005 draft pick of the San Francisco Giants, Minicozzi crossed paths with Hagerstown executive Chuck Domino during the 2012 and 2013 seasons at Richmond.

Shane Turner is out as manager of the Flying Boxcars, according to the club.

The team went 25-74 under the direction of Turner, who took the reins in late May following the departure of Mark Mason.

Hagerstown now begins the search for its third manager ahead of the 2026 season.

A go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning capped off Cannon’s historic day, during which he drove in a team-high four runs.

It is just the second time in franchise history that the club has won back-to-back series, last occurring June 25th-30th, 2024.

The 39-year-old outfielder held Hagerstown's franchise hits record before landing on the injured list in June. His 893 career hits rank seventh in ALPB history.
