George's research has been recognised by multiple prestigious awards, including the inaugural @britsocimm.bsky.social Early Career Research Excellence Award and respected British Society for Rheumatology Garrod Award🏆 He has also had amazing mentors that have supported his ambitious research career🧪

George's research explores many avenues of lupus pathogenesis, from detailed immune profiles, to immunological sex bias in disease risk, and metabolic contributions to co-morbidities. His enthusiastic group and amazing collaborations have enabled these cross-disciplinary questions to be explored 🥼🔬

👋 Time for our next PI researcher spotlight and it’s Dr George Robinson @georgearobinson.bsky.social. Funded by a @versusarthritis.bsky.social Fellowship, George transitioned to independence and group leader in 2022. His research focuses on the development of lupus in children and adolescents 🦋

As part of Lizzy’s research @bcellsrosser.bsky.social, she is also interested in how B cells drive different clinical features in childhood arthritis including uveitis 👁️ development. The basis of her @thelisterinstitute.bsky.social research prize 🏆 see her alongside the other winners last year ⬇️
