I am curious, how many hours a week do you usually work?

It's tiring...
I thankfully don't usually have many night shifts, but still... working 7 days a week, 10+ hours is just something .-.

It should work like that here as well, but it doesn't... it's healthcare we talk about and it's like that almost everywhere

By law I should have some days off after 4, 12+ hour shifts, but I don't. Nothing unusual for me to have like 6 or even more such shifts without a day off

Managing sleep is such a hard thing for me. I don't remember the last time I slept more than 6 hours... ;w;

I kinda have to ask... but, how often does that happen there? I know from my experience that it does, of course happen, but it was actually kinda rare here. To be fair, we probably don't have that many people as you there or dunno how big is Bendigo ;w;

I don't know why is their mindset like this. They are those kinds of ppl who think that if someone goes to college, it's just an excuse to avoid job for as long as possible.
But yeah, one would thought, that parents would be happy to have a child that became doctor.

It's why I decided to leave as soon as I could and just go silent. They just proved to me that it was the right decision, and I have no intentions to go crawling back as they did... I am just fine and happy without them

Geez, since I decided to go to college, they just went all out, that college is a waste of time, just an excuse to avoid a 'real work'. That I should go work right after high school.

Yes, but I live alone, left my family behind, because I couldn't stand them. I spend 90% of my time at work, working 13+ hours shifts in the hospital, and every time I am at home, I basically only sleep and try to rest there, or visit my therapist because of my overworking problem...

Yeah... it's a big problem everywhere. I usually work over 13 hours shifts multiple times a week, with barely a free day, because how short staffed are we. But oh well... it's just how it is.
