Rock mounts Hot Rod is a no-go with the 20x110 thruaxle. Back to the drawing board. This might be a good excuse to get a 3D printer. I might be able to print up some adapters.

Jesus! I could buy this place with cash with the equity I have in my house in Boston and it’s a 100% separated 11 minute bike ride to downtown Utrecht, arguably the most bike friendly city in the world. Why am I putting up with the BS here?

Is this a tow rig? I just got a Rockymounts Hotrod to mount on the rack of my HSD, so I can tow my DJ to the pumptrack. Fingers crossed that it works.

Here’s the kid trying out my DJ on ours. It’s so fast. The only limit to how fast you can go is your tibias shattering under the g-forces 😂

Pretty amazing consistency and predictability I’m getting commuting to work by bike. Within 45 seconds everyday. Driving at rush hour is never this consistent or predictable.

As someone who has studied most aviation incidents for a long time, these recent incidents aren’t unusual. It’s just that when there’s one incident, the media picks up on everything until they get bored.
The outlier was the DC midair, but that was an incident waiting to happen…
