This is wrong information. The Hispanos in New Mexico are not immigrants. The US invaded and took the land they lived on from Mexico. In the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, they were given the choice to stay to move to Mexico. Those who stayed didn't cross any border, the border crossed them.
