I liked when he appeared as himself on The Simpsons and said his childhood obsession with baseball and jazz consumed his life so much, he never had time to get a real haircut.

I have to admit, when your post said "Deep Cover", I at first thought thay was the movie where John Ritter wore a glow-in-the-dark condom. But that turns out to be "Skin Deep". Probably not as good a movie.

If The Muppet Show had lasted another year, I have no doubt they would have knocked "You Should Hear How She Talks About You" out of the park. That song was everywhere in the summer of '82.
