My pet peeve is maps that show the illegally annexed Golan Heights as Israeli territory, so I'm always happy to see when someone takes care to get it right.

The U.S. Defense Department requests $357m for anti-IS partners in 2026. Would continue backing Iraqi forces and Syria's SDF and SFA/Tanf. The seems to be no shifting of funds toward Damascus, but for the first time they ask for $15m to the Lebanese military. comptroller.defense.gov/Portals/45/D...

There is, however, a difference between saying that specific buildings would take a long time to rebuild, and saying, as that leaked DNI report apparently did, that the program itself could recover in a shorter time. As phrased, these claims may not be mutually exclusive.
