True story... Before my wedding, I went for a haircut. When my fiancee saw me next, she insisted I go immediately to another barber. (There's only so many iterations this process can sustain... Thankfully we did not need a Plan C.)

In theory, I like .com being the biz parts.

In practice, I think it's confusing for users when you have two sites. More confusing than worthwhile.

I think that since you have a paid offering available, ariakit.com should be main, since .org implies non-profit. And then .org can redirect.

I'm so glad. My favorite books, my most anticipated tv show, and the biggest letdown.

Assuming those patches are all merged and work as expected, this is the big blocker for my use: github.com/zed-industri...

Vim/Neovim/Emacs all tried and IMHO ultimately failed at that. They're just doing it wrong, and now it's much harder to change than plumbing it from the start.

What really impresses me is remote editing. Oh, your code is over there? Fine, we can work with that. And fast, because it installs a remote runtime instead of treating it as a network filesystem.

Still skeptical about an editor that isn't properly extensible, and doesn't have nrepl support, but it is open source so has potential for both.

If that's taken, E𝄪 is likely available, but good luck finding a font that supports double sharps...

GitHub has so many problems like this. My favorite is "Reference in a new issue" which doesn't do anything when clicked. Beyond that, the PR review flow is a complete mess. Would be really nice for someone to displace GitHub rather than replicate it.

Whenever I get stuck in that back-and-forth, I think "something is wrong with how I'm doing this" but it hasn't helped yet.

As I start my search for a new dishwasher with the filter: does not have wifi.

Which matters more to you: grip or flexibility?

Innova Gstar stiffens under 25°F but stays grippy.
Discraft ESP FLX stays flexy but loses grip.
MVP Neutron Soft stays grippy and flexy.
MVP Electron Soft is grippy/flexy and my preferred for throwing putters in the cold.

I have five SONOS devices, all running S1 (the old app that supports their early devices). I really like what I have, but given the past year, I'm not sure what it would take for me to buy SONOS again. Might be for the best... I'd rather be investing in an open system, but I don't know what
