Someone repurposed a church in my neighborhood as a private dwelling and I would love an invite for dinner to see what they did in there. maps.app.goo.gl/7TucHe7SPt4u...

Very cool! Also works when written as 9/16/2025, but no longer has the elegance of 3^2/4^2/5^2

Y'all set a very high bar in terms of the empathy you bring to your interactions with stakeholders (in the sense of being able to consider their viewpoint). The balance with "foundational contributions" really sets you apart in this ecosystem (and I'd hope gives you a "competitive edge"!)

Yes, but there are details. Maybe best discussed on an issue or on neurostars?

Yeah, the intonation is somehow a bit weird and the graphics are ... what they are. But it also looks like it mostly got the gist of it, and many correct details, so altogether not bad. Thanks for sharing!

None of this work would have been possible without the funding from NIH, the Essential Open Source Software program @chanzuckerberg.bsky.social, Moore & Sloan foundations, and other supporters. We are grateful for all this support.

The work never ends... We are already working on the next version of the software, which will include some substantial new features, and tighter compliance with @bidsstandard.bsky.social draft derivatives for diffusion MRI. Looking forward to update about that soon!

The ecosystem has since expanded with more collaborators and students putting in more pieces of the puzzle. We are really happy with the tools and we have used them (and still used them!) for studies that we are very proud of. We are also delighted that several other groups use the tools.

A multi-year, multi-group collaboration, which started with @jyeatman.bsky.social and me sitting and programming side by side at the @uwescience.bsky.social data science studio about 10 years ago, and really took off when John Kruper and Adam Richie-Halford joined us a couple of years later.
