I have an update regarding what happened to my cousin. He was stabbed by an unknown assailant in LA early New Year's Day. This year is not off to a great start. I didn't know my cousin super well, but he was a good man, close to my eldest brother, a talented artist, and loved metal like me. RIP Joel

2025 has been a trip. Many tumultuous patches, and some high points. I played some killer gigs with huge BDM bands, I had my heart broken by Jordi because she officially ghosted me, and I financially struggled. But I did land a job at Raytheon, in a new band, and I think my life is finally on track

So I bought a new car! I've always been given used/hand-me-down cars. Since I have a much better paying job now, I figured I take initiative and get me a newer vehicle. I know it's not top tier, but I like Nissan, it drives smoothly, good storage space, and it'll get me from point A to B

I put up my Theocide flag at the jam space. For those who don't know, Theocide is one of my old bands. I actually recorded a single with them on bass. I also got to play the Rialto stage with them a couple of times. Once opening for Exhumed and Cavalera

Burnt out from work and my hair looks shitty. But getting to jam with the lads makes it all worthwhile. I really hope I get that engineering position🤞 I don't wanna be stuck as a technician forever

There's a potluck tonight at work. So I made chicken curry. I used the Japanese Golden Curry brand. I only had potatoes and onions lying about. I also added thyme, parsley, and some rosemary. So, I made it in more of a Greek-Irish style. Hope my coworkers will enjoy it

I had my interview for that Mech Engineer position. I think I did alright, but we'll see. Raytheon is usually quick about these things. I'm surprised I even got an interview so early into my time as an MT. I also used PTO today because I'm still kinda sick. Hopefully I feel better tomorrow
