Love when I order books to be sent to my mom's house and forget what I've ordered. Quite the line-up for holiday break reading! Really looking forward to these two @adamblacklerwy.bsky.social @jaredmargulies.bsky.social

Mucho thanks to Sarah Qidwai for inviting me to Regensburg to speak at the Kolloquium Wissenschaftsgeschichte yesterday! I had a fab time catching up & discussing an article I'm trying to write on a little plant puzzle. Impossible without the help of the fantastic Sebastian Hatt 🌵

One plus about living in Bavaria is being close enough to the Alps to hike on weekends 😍 Yesterday was my first day back after a serious hiking accident in July - couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! Started in Füssen, around Schwanensee & Alpsee, then Neuschwanstein to Tegelberg 🏔️

Starting to think about syllabi for the upcoming semester & teaching a class called 'Inventing America's Wilderness' - what readings/topics would you suggest get covered in a module like this? A course for American Studies at LMU Munich! #envhist #envhum #twitterstorians

Heading home to Munich after a super time at ESEH in Bern! This was my first and it lived up to expectations. Thanks to the organizers & volunteers for all the hard work. It was really special to catch up with friends old & new + hear the latest in environmental history ☀️🪴🇨🇭 #ESEH2023
