I see but still it does fundamentally apply in general to everyone, in fact I have seen people be equally pessimistic with their views on these topics from both sides of the political spectrum.

I don’t think it’s fair to say “in leftist spaces” because it’s present in all spaces. It’s not a political issue it’s just a general tech illiteracy surrounding these topics.
