I’m 70 in November and I made a commitment, a few weeks back, to finish the first draft of my novel by then. I have been tinkering at it for years and had 20,000 words down but no motivation to get back to it. So, my target is 70,000 words for 70 years. My June target is 4000 words. I’m on track. 😊

I absolutely agree. In my 70th year on this planet, I remind myself daily of the impermanent nature of existence. Far from causing fear and dread, this reminder engenders love and gratitude for all that I have.
