Further, if you want to see how all of these organizations interconnect - here you go.

It’s incomplete so the connections likely go deeper.

This thread was meant to show that our current system has been co-opted and dismantled by fascists - which is why you’re seeing such little resistance to blatant fascism within both parties.

All of this information is readily available (see the sources with each post).

Donald Trump gaining presidency isn’t the coup, it’s the dismantling of critical institutions by positioning extremists.

Heritage, ALEC, SPN, and all the associated actors have been planning and acting on this for a long time and now we’re seeing the end result.
January 8, 2025 at 3:20 PM
Charles Koch, Donors Trust, Searle Freedom Trust, and the Bradley Foundation have all funded MILLIONS into ALEC and associated right-wing policy networks to push a fascist agenda.

The coup has already happened and BEEN happening.

The common theme here is that dark money has completely taken over American politics.

Organizations like ALEC, SPN, and Heritage are the reason that you continue to see increasingly radical fascist policy passed with no resistance — & they’re all funded by right wing billionaires thru “foundations”
January 8, 2025 at 3:20 PM
And truthfully it gets even deeper.

SPN has several organizations underneath it that have been directly responsible for abortion bans, radical social policy, and many of the right-wing talking points we see reiterated daily.
January 8, 2025 at 3:20 PM
SPN actively uses “cookie cutter” studies (that are inherently flawed) to give radical ALEC policies the appearance of academic and scholarly legitimacy.

Guess what - SPN is funded by the Koch Brothers as well.

Double guess what - Heritage is listed as an associate member of SPN.
State Policy Network - SourceWatch

The State Policy Network (SPN) is a literal web of right wing think tanks that span across all 50 states in an effort to push conservative policy to the forefront.

They’re responsible for securing extremists in the Republican party.
January 8, 2025 at 3:20 PM
And ALEC’s connections run VERY deep.

Remember the hate group Heritage awarded an innovation award, the Alliance Defending Freedom?

They’re a private sector member of ALEC.

And ALEC also has connections to something known as the State Policy Network.

ALEC’s reach expands across almost every aspect of policy, they actively lobby to:

• Prevent environmental regulations

• Privatize schools

• Defund unions & limit their power

• Enforce strict election laws to disenfranchise voters

• Increase incarceration to boost prison profits

In fact, corporations pay for a seat on a “task force” that allows them to vote with elected officials to establish “model bills” that push conservative agendas.
January 8, 2025 at 3:20 PM
More relevantly, he founded the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).

ALEC is a corporate bill mill & also on the Project 2025 Advisory Board.

Through ALEC, corporations hand state legislators their wishlists to benefit their bottom line.

ALEC is almost entirely funded by corporations.

Paul also founded the Council For National Policy, a secretive, Christian Right organization of funders and activists focused on pushing conservative policy.

He was also associated with Laszlo Pasztor - former leader of ultra-nationalist militant group (and N@zi collaborators) The Arrow Cross Party

Weyrich was able to transform the Heritage Foundation into a political force with massive influence.

But it didn’t stop with Heritage. In fact, it just got deeper.

Heritage Foundation - SourceWatch

The Heritage Foundation was founded by Paul Weyrich, an American religious conservative activist and commentator associated with the “New Right”.

With funding of right-wing billionaire Joseph Coors, as well as right-wing billionaire Charles Koch (and his organization)…

They also…

• Worked with the Contras & Unitas Movement in the 80s to pressure communist governments, to the CIA, DIA, and NSC’s benefit.

• Received around $5M in funding from right wing billionaire Charles Koch’s organizations

• One of the most influential public policy research institutes
January 8, 2025 at 3:20 PM
• Anti-LGBTQ+, Pro-Christian Nationalism, Pro-Life

• Conducted secret ‘voter fraud meetings’ in an effort to “manipulate the election process to structurally advantage one side or the other”

First, a bit about the legacy of The Heritage Foundation…

• Issued an “innovation award” to a hate group (Alliance Defending Freedom who believe gay acts should be criminalized and trans people should be subjected to state sanctioned sterilization)

You may have heard their name in the news for a few reasons:

- They’re going after journalists / editors on Wikipedia

- They’re a major part of Project 2025

- They’re behind the massive pro-life policies popping up around the country
January 8, 2025 at 3:20 PM
Your research and writings have been instrumental in my journey as a fascist researcher so it’s the very least I could do! I formerly had conversations with you on Twitter as @anarcholvcifer but moved away from there for obvious reasons hahaha

Again, the goal here was to have conservative estimates in effort to not mislead the public and also to give reasonable insight into the money we’re giving to Israel - and how that money could’ve been used to improve the lives of those in America.

Similarly to the quantities not being concrete, the cost of individual weapons were also not always explicit.

So for example, I have the cost of a JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) at $25,000 per unit, when it could cost as much $84,000.
