Books that are drunk (rambling stories which end with them telling you they love you) or books for reading when you're drunk (big font, short words, lots of cursing)?

Question: if Le Guin was posthumously revealed to have "TERF leanings", would that devalue the otherwise positive influence she had on the world at large or the stellar nature of her written work?

Anti-women's rights. Alt-contraception. Rubbed shoulders with some of the more reprehensible dictators of her day. I'd be wary of the person who considered her 'heroic'.
