@gruber.foo you wrote "the market forces had worked, and the whole world had [...] was on the cusp of moving to USB-C (like iPhones)" in your last article, but IIRC the entire smartphone world has switched to USB-C years ago, except for Apple which only did so after a EU mandate with a deadline. No?

@stephmouss.bsky.social Ça pourrait être sympa d'avoir un article igen sur les applications par défaut dans iOS, vu que même avec GMaps en application de cartographie par défaut Apple me lance Apple Maps quand je clique sur l'adresse d'un contact et ce genre de choses arrivent souvent.
