Agreed, but 70% of those who want to enlist can’t meet the physical and mental health standards. Enlistment has been down for a while.

We also haven’t had a World War in 80 years, but looks like that is changing now too. Military enlistment has been down for years, and if there is a broader war, we don’t have the numbers.

Apparently Israel is piling on and there are massive airstrikes going on beyond the attacks on nuclear sites. Hope all those Trump voters are cool with sending their kids into the draft to serve in WWIII

If you haven’t already done X-rays, that’s the place to start. There are all sorts of interesting medications used to manage symptoms (opioids, corticosteroids, cough suppressants, antibiotics, bronchodilators) that can help with quality of life.

All of this has also emboldened Netanyahu. While the world is standing aghast at what’s happening in the US - he’s indiscriminately killing people in Gaza. RISE UP OR WE’RE NEXT. No one is safe.

Realistically, Schumer’s dissent would have hastened the pain. There were no good options but perhaps fast, furious and indiscriminate pain would cause more people to wake up and more importantly, rise up. By agreeing, he showed the autocrats, that no price is too high for the Dems.

Same with us in Tempe, AZ. 15k people RSVPd. So many people showing up on a Thursday evening at rush hour, in one of the most congested parts of the Phx area — those that didn’t get inside, stayed together outside in partnership. I wish this energy would have culminated before November.
