human trafficking is a big issue because of immigration laws, the threat of immigration status being used against the victims is what perpetuates a lot of it. That and the criminalization of sex work, drug use and so on.

They should have started considering the point of having the federal government a long time ago. How do you share a living space with people that don't value life in the same way is just head spinning to me still.
