I wanted to photograph this snake for a very long time, luckily we came across a big specimen (at least 3m)! I took advantage of having an animal big enough to use my wide angle macro lens. The problem is that I had to approach a lot, which the snake did not really like, and it almost got me a bite.

This species of toad, named Atelopus pulsher, is in the process of extinction in Peru, like many species of the genus atelopus. They often have a very limited distribution area, and therefore deforestation (among others) impacts them enormously.
