Yes, it is crazy this gun problem only happens in the US. I lost count of how many needless deaths happened over 5 decades because of this gun problem. Nobody is talking about complete gun bans, but the country needs to have strong background checks and no military grade weapons.

I think Sex workers are better protected if it is made legal. When done illegally, sex trade still exists, but there is no oversight. But I don't trust Southern States in doing a good job protecting sex workers if made legal.

I love the food culture from Latin America. Food in Spain, Italy and France are also great. Canada is a lot like Northern US states, but they have a better Government. Australia and New Zealand are like warmer Canada. I have not experienced a lot of Eastern Europe, but would love to.

🤔 Man, that makes me mad. It's almost like the laws are put there to look good. That's actually a lot like China (PRC) today. Do you think it varies from different regions? Like it might be worse in the South and parts of the Southwest versus the Midwest and East coast?

3. There are many areas of US culture that I enjoy. I enjoy a lot of movies that come out of the US. I enjoy how friendly some Americans can be, knowing 25% of the coutnry are not good people. I am engaged in American politics. I enjoy US culture even if I don't currently like the country.

2. I enjoy different cultures, because I have been to several different countries. My personality is more open-minded in experiencing new things. Perhaps, that's why my ideology is more Progressive. I separate culture from Government or Corporations, just like I separate people from Government.

1. Taiwan is still culturally East Asian, even if it is more International. Not all Americans who live in Taiwan adapt well, but others adapt well. It really depends on the person. Perhaps, a MAGA who comes to Taiwan would quickly go back, assuming they even leave their own tiny towns.

I do agree, it needs to be regulated in the right way, which I guess many States in the US do it poorly. The whole point of making it legal is so that something harmless is no longer a crime, but also the Government can have oversight and regulate it.

Man, that's messed up. Doesn't the smoking ban in public places apply to Marijuana? Like in European countries, they regulate it very well. But this is the US we are talking about, I guess the US has always been the failure of the West...

You're right, Germeny has been one of the leading countries battling climate change. But even if all of Europe, Japan, etc are doing their parts, it is not enough. The US isn't doing shit, Russia is not doing shit, India isn't doing shit and China is still addicted to coal, despite green energy.

Actually, I do agree with you. It is illegal in Taiwan and people in East Asia don't have a culture or desire to use them. However, the West is different culturally. My thought is wouldn't people feel more urge to use it if it is illegal? Isn't it better if it is regulated?
