Hardly the most obscure, but I would have to put forward Betterman. It was just such a wet fart of an anime coming out during a time when the market was really saturated. It's extremely forgettable, a little pretentious, and has just absolutely nothing going for it.

FF14 is the MMO that wants you to play with other people the least and will go out of its way to make sure you don't get to do that and I will die on this hill.
