Dark as it is to think, I'm glad my Dad doesn't have to be here for what the world is like in 2025. I know he would hate this. As sad as the Bush Era left him, the Trump era is so much worse for so many people.

Which sucks as, on it's own, it's not inaccurate at all. I think it's just that some people took it literally.

When I finished The Savior's Champion, I was like "That was pretty good, but do I want to continue with the series?" This right here was what made me go "Okay, yeah, I'll check it out." And I'm glad I did, because I just thought TSS was better than TSC in every way I can think of. And I liked TSC.

If Kellie Waymire hadn't died so suddenly IRL and Manny Coto was able to bring her back for Season 3 of Enterprise (I've read there were plans to, but I don't know if it was ever confirmed) I bet there'd be a much bigger shipping contingent for these two. Not on the level of T'Pol/Hoshi, but still.

Another counterprogramming suggestion; if people want to see a good adaptation of War of the Worlds that may not have seen before, you can find decent videos of productions of the War of the Worlds musical on YouTube. I highly rec the album the stage show is based on too. One of my all-time faves.

Except in this post you really do seem to think more than a few Internet Famous people, women in particular, are lying about having a condition for "clout," not just Lorenz. That seems not only ableist but also misogynistic. Seems to me you'd be making the claim regardless of the value of her takes.
