I do think it's getting better over time at least. Site was unusable at first but now that type of posting is becoming more of a punchline for sure. Still, that's why bigger accounts need those notification management features haha.

Kind of a funny parallel discourse to the "evil races" in RPG discourses, where the usual suspects get mad about seeing more sympathetic depictions of races like orcs. Well, this stuff is exactly why that happens.

Yeah, even though "Shawn Levy given Star Wars film to direct" feels custom engineered to personally give me anguish, the casting direction is really interesting. Particularly with Goth, whose body of work doesn't really reflect the tone I was expecting from Levy.

Huh. I grew up between two reservations in the Southwest and Indians was definetely a no go, with indigenous or native American preferred. Interesting to know that's reversed in some areas - Indian definetely gives me the ick when I hear it, haha.

One heads up if you're new is that a big part of Ren Faires is of course the vendors, and they'll be selling a ton of garb there. I've always found getting a couple simple base items before you show up and then accessorizing at the faire to be the most fun way to do it.
