That's a good point. I guess what I was tryna say is that even if he cares about being seen as legitimate, the actual actions being taken just seem really authoritarian to me, and it seems like the direction is the worrying part, regardless of polling numbers.

Trump doesn't care about polling numbers. He's literally deploying the National Guard in cities and designating the anti-fascist movement a terrorist group. The US just keeps heading towards an authoritarian state.

Cannot believe y'all live in an era where your president decides that being anti-fascist is terrorism.

He'll stop at nothing to prevent those files from getting out. Both the left and the right can agree on one thing, and it's the fact that those files need to be released.
