The story just could not enable good characterization for us to care for them,
no bits of background lore shown or hinted were good enough

I really hope they know it was a terrible showing and improve from it

Maybe if they had more time or episodes given, it wouldve been better. But I also heard and read rumors that there are creative clashes happening inside :/

True, there are good things in this series but is immediately soured by bad things, the total lack of pacing, cohesion, zero strategic sequencing in battles, and characterization of the main 3!! they all failed to do.

But hey, at least they could advertise their gunplas from it.
