Having said all that, I do really enjoy reading the book. The way it’s written, the words just float through serenely, displaying scenes and characters from the story fluently and effortlessly. It’s really such a nice read.

And that’s just one of so many things that I can’t really put my fingers down on that guy.

I dun even know why she chose to get back tgt with him after what seem like such a betrayal. Love? Infatuation? Plot armour? Just ughhhh!!! He’s so not worth it girl!! 😡

I really like the lead, she’s so awesome. And she’s totally not wrong about the bad points she’d pointed out about the guy initially - late, disrespectful of other ppl’s time. Yes you do rescues, but other ppl’s time are impt too. At least make it a pt to explain the whys if the whys are impt to u!

And I think the worst part is without even proving or verifying everything, they sure did not hold their tongues on letting others know why the lead was let go from the centre. So unprofessional, careless and unnecessarily mean!

And when he accused the lead it’s like is he stupid? For someone who worked her ass off to help the centre, why wld she do that?? Does he even really like the lead? Trust her?? Apparently not enough!

Then when he wanted her back at the end I was so angry like - GIRL! NO! You deserve BETTER!

I was already coughing for like 2 weeks plus, but it really just exploded ytd and I was coughing till my voice was first hoarse then gone.

This whole project is just a way of the universe trying to show me that Murphy’s Law exists, and it exists robustly.

To the point that, even if I try to do dmg control, it just laughs at me and flings the pointer to another direction.

My peabrain is just mentally giving up.
