I agree that violence is a part of politics. I don’t think even centrists think that it is not. I just think it should be a practical consideration and not an ideological one.

I’ll also add that centrism can be more ideologically violent and extremist than leftism. For example union busting.

And I’m not just strawmanning. Look at the the NBPP. Or many grifters like Max Blumenthal.

I wouldn’t consider the BPP or other similar revolutionary groups extremist. Being realistic about power and violence is not the same as idolizing it. Liberation is the first, fascism is the second. Sadly, some people who claim to be leftists end up idolizing it.

I’m not equating the BPP to any racist movement. I don’t think revolutionary ideas are extremist per se. But when self-described MLs disregard any progress made without completely (and ideally violently) overthrowing capitalism, that is a violent ideology.

That is not what zionism means though.

I don’t mean radical ideas lead to extremism. Violent ideas (like insistence on revolution as the only option, silencing criticism or violent justice) are by definition extremist, and they quickly become the goal of any ideology that adopts them.

Another myth is that by going farther into the left you decrease the chances of being radicalized by the right. But in extremist movements, violence becomes a central point of ideology. So central that it creates alliances with other violent movements, like fascism.

Please don’t pit the fight against islamophobia and the fight against antisemitism against each other. Trump is not an ally of the Jewish people. He will justify antisemitism coming from his side just as much as this.

As a person on the Autism spectrum who is good at math, I would probably not have survived being a teenager if this was my family.

Sugar can help with low blood pressure (but it is an unhealthy solution long term)

Just glossed over this again. What do you mean with Jews who lost family members in the holocaust are anti-Israel and anti-Zionist? Are you telling me my own grandfather was anti-Israel? Or do you believe Zionists are at fault for the holocaust?

Many times it still wouldn’t fix the problem though

You went against the party’s line, you must secretly like Jews. Sounds like some nazi shit to me
October 16, 2025 at 7:43 AM
It is to antisemites. And a one-sided disingenuous version of it is a very hip issue in the Trump administration. This is why some Jews (and most Israelis) are distrustful of the left. Our issues are not worthy.

Even told to scram is a bit generous. Some were murdered too.

The Farhud, a (literal) nazi pogrom happened in Iraq in 1941.

So if they were Zionists, it would have been ok?

Mr. Ribbentrop is pleased with your comment Ms. Molotov.

According to you, anyone with the wrong opinion about the situation in Gaza is a Zionist and anyone with the right one is not. You just made Zionism logically equivalent to having a bad opinion. This is intellectually worthless and also false. So less than worthless.

Thank you for policing Zionism to keep it racist 👍
