I love talking about my spouse. Also I like baseball, space, and talking about autism. Sometimes my cats might make an appearance. COVID is still there
Wife: when you googled “did celestial seasonings get its name from a racist slur?” You don’t expect 1 Direction or death on an electric scooter to be related.

My heating pad no longer works (turns off just after running for like 5 minutes) and my wife suggested we go today to get a replacement before the storm and I said it would probably be fine but I wasn’t in the mood to leave the house after running around yesterday

Alas, she was right.

I never expected to essentially have the role of step-dad, but oh my god am I so lucky and grateful and happy. Even on days when it’s hard, when I’m bone tired and fighting off a devilish migraine, I love getting to take care of my wife’s #1 person.

I really hope audible doesn’t come up with its own Spotify wrapped because I know I have listened to my hyper fixation books WAYY too much

At some point in your life, you realize that you and the Grinch have the same exact body type and then you have to live with that knowledge for the rest of your life.

The worst part about going to the office is that in order to pee I have to take off so many fucking layers

I’ve been married to my lovely wife for over 3 years now and I just would like everyone to know that my favorite thing to do is make her laugh. There’s nothing like it

Today, @sbworkersunited.org is striking to demand progress in stalled negotiations.

Our bedroom has these two skylights that I have a love/hate relationship with. On one hand, I wake up in the mornings with some semblance of a migraine because of how bright the room is.

On the other hand, I can see Jupiter from the comfort and warmth of my bed. And that’s superb.

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

Wife: what part of the cat am I touching?
Me: his thigh I think?
Wife: is he enjoying it?
Me: he’s not.. not enjoying it

Me: that seems like a very Knights of Columbus thing to do
Me, realizing how it sounded out of my mouth: I can’t explain it any better
Wife: you don’t have to, it makes perfect sense!

If you think the people throwing Great Gatsby-esque parties for themselves, while millions were denied their food assistance, are all of a sudden going to grow a conscience and save affordable healthcare, you clearly have not been paying attention.

In the last month, the FBI has charged players from two different leagues for roles in sports-betting scandals.

Either legalized gambling is exposing corruption that’s always been there.

Or it’s creating it.

Either answer is terrible for sports.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.
