The paper explores the ambivalent and zig-zagged ways in which farmers engage with alternative farming and how these seeming contradictions might be explained through the lens of social reproduction.

In the paper, I descibe how the group reimagines water governance away from current understandings of water limited to #irrigation. Instead they reframe water in the form of the #rainfall and all the different ecological, social and spatio-temporal relations the rainfall supports.
