Official ARISS! ARISS lets students worldwide experience the excitement of talking directly with crew members of the International Space Station via amateur radio, inspiring them to pursue interests in careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
The ARISS ops teams have shared an update on the status of the radio equipment in the Service Module (Russian Segment) of the ISS.

The Columbus module based radios (Cross-band voice repeater and HamTV) continue to function nominally.

After 3 days of troubleshooting the ARISS ops team has determined SSTV Series 30 can not continue.

25 years ago this week the ISS Expedition 1 crew activated their first educational payload. Amateur Radio on the International Space Station went on the air with two test contacts!

HamTV outage upcoming Wednesday.

HamTV transmissions will take a pause on Wednesday to enable other human research payload operations.

When operating, HamTV is transmitting a signal but no media is being sent. We'll share when future uses are planned.
