Yep. That's why I try not to worry about it much. I came up with basic personality but the rest is out of my hands.

One thing I've learned coming up with lore for my own characters is how little of it is actual in your hands. Your character is going to do what he's going to do and feel what he wants to feel. It doesn't matter if it's cliche as long as it's true to the character.
