So The Long Walk was worth waiting decades for. Loved the story as a teenager & so excited. I think it was cast well, shot well (loved the details showing the desolation), changes from the book justified/didn’t detract. Please Running Man be as good.

im starting to think that treating nazi germany as a unique and incomparable evil rather than as an extention of the western european colonial project that happened to threaten the interests of other western european powers might be bad actually bogleech Yeah we have a shit ton of modern nazis pretending they can't possibly be modern nazis because nazis were like some once-in-a-history supreme evil. No they were your utterly banal everyday normal conservatives who managed to take everyday typical conservatism to its absolute only possible conclusion. The moment your platform is about fighting the gays or the immigrants or making types of peoole illegal you are going down that path
