Almost ten years without wearing out!

In my younger years I would have thought this sounded great.

I’ve taken to painting little robot models. I always wanted to make models when I was younger but didn’t really feel I could afford the supplies. A great deal of my adulthood has been honoring my younger self.

Observant is playing a secret show as O.I. (Observant Incognito) at the Terminal Bar this Friday. We’re going to do a cover set including some special covers of our own songs.

This is one of the most intimidating Yule presents ever. It’s four LONG discs of 78rpm recordings from Southeast Asia. There’s a massive book with lengthy entries on each song that open even more pathways to study. This could take years…

I want many more of these. I miss the Lays Szechuan chips much more though. Somehow maps doesn’t seem quite right with corn chips.

I’ve been revisiting a lot of the folk dance music that I closed over in the 90s. This album has been in heavy rotation despite its hippy leanings.
