Chloe and I had a lovely peaceful walk at Osborne House. We had the place to ourselves, enjoyed a slice of homemade shortbread at the beach café, and Chloe got fusses from all her favourite members of staff.

Today at our happy place we had 6 Squirrel sightings and 1 small Lizard. I just love watching Chloe explore her world. The magic and wonder in her beautiful eyes brings me such joy.

The most perfect day with my darling girl at Carisbrooke Castle. The weather was overcast, very breezy, and cool. We almost had the place to ourselves. Chloe enjoyed taking in all the views like the noble princess she is before tucking into her Tuna Mayo and Sweetcorn sandwich.

After doing a day shift at work it was anevening walk while we had some daylight left. The thing about walking at this time of day .... Rabbits everywhere! I'm going to end up with one arm longer than the other at this rate but oh how Chloe fills my heart with joy. I just love my girl so much 💓

"Hello Everyone, Chloe here, and I saw two Red Squirrels chasing each other up a tree during my walk today. I decided to leap after them. Mummy said she momentarily felt like she was flying a very heavy kite and she's surprised her arm is still in it's socket."

I think Arik has been teaching Chloe how to hunt in Stealth Mode. This is EXACTLY what Arik used to do when he saw small prey. No noise, no fuss, no rearing up and screaming - just slow, steady, silent forward movement until close enough to pounce. This is a first for Chloe. She's learning.

To be honest it was really rather pleasant. The rain was persistent, but light so we didn't really notice it all that much. The best bit ... we had the place to ourselves! Bliss 😊
