this is honestly the biggest evidence to me that ghosts aren't real. people stopped having ghost sightings when mental health treatments appeared and we stopped using leaches as treatment for cancer

the naturalistic fallacy is my favorite philosophical principle. it states that something that is natural is not inherently good. it's natural for men to be more sexually aggressive, that doesn't make it good or correct. we are sophisticated creatures in a society we created. get over it.

i like to think i am a free thinker and am capable of forming my own opinions. however, the way I perceive facts changes based on the news publication that posted them. Fox News and CNN could post the exact same headline and I would read them differently and with a different attitude

elections are a product of the systems they are a part of. voting is not just a right for all citizens, it's also a skill. the education system has to teach people that skill in order for the system to be effective.
