yeah, in my research we followed a couple of panel of college graduates for 6.5 years after graduation (so far, not sure if we will do another survey). I'm also running some numbers with national data but that isn't done yet.

We have a conference paper on this I can send you if you want (Basically, worse long term health and lower health care usage if you have loans). Also published on long term effects in a short book chapter and have a paper on current students, our book in progress covers long term health effects.

I think the collaborations and personalities and sometimes gatekeeping is very similar to the musicians I hang out with for my second "job" / hobby that makes a tiny bit of money
